MATHS RAMANUJAN DAY

On 24th December,students of class II and III celebrated MATHS RAMANUJAN DAY. On this day they performed an activity of making a joker of different 3D geometrical shapes using various live objects. All the students participated actively and came out with new innovative ideas.

STORY NARRATION BY GRANDPARENTS

Story narration session by grandparents Was organized today i.e, on 18.12.14 for class II. Grandparents enthusiastically participated in the session. Children also enjoyed while their grandparents recited interesting tales to them. In our busy lives nowadays children and grandparents do not have time to establish a healthy relationship, this was a successful effort on the part of the school to help re-establish this connect.

ROCKSPORT Adventure Day Camp

In order to have camping experience within school, D.L.D.A.V Model School with the association of ROCKSPORT academy has organised an Adventure Day Camp for two days for students of class II and III. Rocksport Camp includes many physical activities that are designed to have fun and provide direct learning experience. With an active support from Rocksport team of trained instructors, students as well as teachers experience fast paced power-packed adventure activities within the school.

SPORTS MANIA

The increasing popularity of computer, video games and television makes the children to be very inactive in their lifestyles. The time spent in these things may be spent in some physical activities. Participation in sports and other physical activities offers the chance to children to enhance their physical and social skills. Therefore, D.L.D.A.V Model School has organised a sports meet i.e, SPORTS MANIA for class II and III 24^th and 25^th November 2014. The event was initiated with a torch lighting ceremony.All the students participated in many sports activities like relay race, skipping, dodge ball, 100 m race, skating, gymnastics etc .Few students of class II and III performed aerobics and dance performances with great zeal and enthusiasm. At last everyone was motivated by our Principal mam’s, Ms.Anita Wadehra message.

MESSAGE-Education is incomplete without sports. So, lets raise the dimension of sports in our lives.
